  • Katachi Studio is a multidisciplinary practice focused on the design and production of objects, atmospheres, and spatial experiences. We draw from both Japanese and Mexican cultures, guided by contemporary thought and the legacy of the Metabolist architectural movement.

    We’re based in Northern Mexico. Our work is primarily produced locally in collaboration with skilled craftspeople, but we work with clients and collaborators internationally.

  • Yes. We produce limited runs of our objects, and selected pieces are available for direct purchase. Some collections are made-to-order with specified lead times. Please reach out via email or Instagram for availability.

  • Yes. We accept commissions depending on our current capacity. This includes object design, spatial concepts, and special collaborations. Each commission begins with a conversation to define scope, timeline, and budget.

  • Yes. We ship internationally with custom quotes depending on the size, weight, and destination of your order. Shipping costs and lead times are confirmed prior to payment.

  • Because our work is limited edition or made-to-order, all sales are final. However, if you receive the wrong item or your piece arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with documentation and we’ll do our best to resolve the issue.

  • Yes. We’re open to thoughtful collaborations with like-minded architects, artists, and designers—especially across disciplines. Send us a message with your ideas or portfolio.

  • Yes. Katachi Studio develops architectural concepts, schematic designs, and custom spatial strategies that bridge object culture and built environments.

  • Yes. We work with international clients for both object and architectural projects. Remote collaboration is fully supported. We are experienced on USA-based projects

  • Absolutely. We welcome hybrid commissions that integrate spatial design and custom furnishings or collections.
