Multi-State experience

Katachi Studio is a design and consultancy practice working across architecture, interior environments, furniture, and objects.

Our work pursues a balance between physical and spiritual functionality. We consider how a space or object serves its purpose, supports everyday rituals, and becomes meaningful to the people who use it. Material, proportion, and craftsmanship inform the way we design, alongside the practical demands of each project.

We are interested in how things change through use: the marks materials retain, the familiarity of a space, and the attachment that grows over time. We call this relationship emotional heritage. It encompasses what we inherit and what we create today with the intention that it will be cared for, remembered, and passed forward.

We work with individuals, studios, and brands through private commissions and creative collaborations. Our scope includes spatial design, furniture and object development, and creative consultancy.

For the AEC and design industries, we also provide project management, owner representation, technical development, production coordination, and manufacturing strategy.
